Appointment of Independent Representatives to Standards Committee
The Authority is seeking people with an understanding of probity and good governance to become independent representatives on its Standards Committee. This opportunity arises with effect from July 2007.
Applicants should possess an interest in local government/national parks and the way they operate, an appreciation of the importance of high standards of conduct in public life and some experience of working within committees.
Applicants should be available to attend a minimum of three meetings a year on weekdays. This position receives a modest co-optee allowance and reasonable expenses will be paid.
