Broads Plan
The Broads Plan is the key strategic management plan for the Broads. The Plan was recently reviewed and Broads Plan 2011 was adopted in May 2011. An electronic version of the Plan will be launched in Autumn 2011.

Broads Explorer
The Broads Authority produces a regular newsletter to let people know what’s going on in the Broads and how they can get involved. In future we would like to distribute editions electronically. If you would like to receive a copy, please email us at explorer@broads-authority.gov.uk. We will not use your email address for sending any other material or pass it on to others.

Broad Sheet (toll payers' newsletter)
To keep toll payers updated with the latest Broads Authority navigation news, we produce two printed editions of Broad Sheet every year, one at the beginning of the boating season and one at the end. Information updates will be posted here in electronic format (pdf). If you would like to receive an electronic version of Broad Sheet, please sign up here. Corporate Assessment
The Broads Authority reguarly participates in a performance assessment process, broadly based on the local authority CPA (Comprehensive Performance Assessment) model but tailor made to fit the duties and responsibilities of national park authorities (NPAs). The assessment is carried out by a 'peer review' team comprised mainly of employees and members of other NPAs. The purpose of the assessment programme is to help each NPA to become more aware of its current strengths and areas for improvement, in order that it can build an approach to improvement planning which focuses on the key areas.
An assessment team visited the Broads Authority in November 2005 and met with staff, members and representatives of external partners and user groups. The team's report is published below.
