Implementation and Performance Monitoring Report 2007/08

Free

As a result of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007, the need for the Broads Authority and local authorities to publish a Best Value Performance Plan by 30 June each year has been removed. However, for this year only, Best Value authorities are required to publish a short document which reports outturn performance indicator data for 2007/08, together with a statement certifying compliance with the Code of Practice on Workforce Matters. The Authority has also taken the opportunity to set out progress against key objectives for 2007/08, for the sake of completeness and because it complements the performance indicator data.

A three-year Business Plan, covering the period 2008/09 to 2010/11, will be published later in the year and will incorporate some of the data in this report.
