Where Do Our Activities Take Place?
All our activities take place in the Broads Executive Area of Norfolk and Suffolk.
The Broads Authority’s boundary encompasses an area of 300 sq km. It is tightly drawn along the valley sides of the Rivers Bure, Yare and Waveney, and their tributaries the Ant, Thurne and Chet.
As you can see from the map (below), the Broads Authority area is very large. Roughly speaking it covers the rivers and open water (broads) and the land next to these. In Norfolk it covers the Rivers Bure, Ant, Thurne, Yare and Chet. In Suffolk it covers the River Waveney.
