Urgent Notification of Emergency Closure of Haddiscoe Cut Friday 3 November 2006
Following damage to the railway line at St Olaves caused by the exceptionally high water levels yesterday emergency repairs are to be carried out and Haddiscoe Cut will be closed to navigation as follows.
Haddiscoe Cut closed to Navigation from 06:00 hours Friday 3 November 2006 to 18:00 hours Friday 3 November 2006. During this time no access will be possible through Haddiscoe Road Bridge.
Repair work will continue over the weekend 4th to 5th November but the navigation is expected to be open. All vessels are advised to proceed with caution.
