NO. 5 OF 2006
England East Coast - Great Yarmouth - River Yare
Berth 8A & 8B Reconstruction
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that reconstruction of Berth 8A & 8B (about 200 metres south of the power cable crossing) on the east side of the River Yare between Port Marks 81 and 86 will commence on or just after the 21st August, 2006.
Work will continue until the 31st March, 2007 and during this period, marine construction plant, including cranes, piling rigs and pontoons, will be working on the site. There will be a barge and crane operating alongside the berth with obstructions projecting up to 12 metres into the river.
Navigators are advised to heed warning notices and lights, exercise caution when approaching the works, keep well clear at slow speed until past and clear of the works area.
