NOTICE TO MARINERS

NO 4 OF 2009
OUTER HARBOUR CONSTRUCTION AREA
COMPLETION OF MARINE WORKS- REMOVAL OF NAVIGATION MARKS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on or after the 28th April 2009 (weather permitting), following completion of the marine construction works on the Outer Harbour Breakwaters and the buoys (N1, N2, E1, E2, E3, C1,C2, S1 and S2) marking the seaward area are to be removed. (Notice to Mariners No 4 of 2007 refer).

Until 30th September 2009 marine plant and equipment will continue to operate on an occassional basis close up to the north and south breakwaters and mariners should keep well to seaward of such vessels. If in doubt contact Port Operations on VHF  Channel 12.

Until further notice the area inside the newly constructed Outer Harbour remains closed to navigation.

Notice to Mariners No4 of 2007 is hereby cancelled.
