NOTICE TO MARINERS
No. 7 of 2009
Great Yarmouth – River Yare – West Quay
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that repair works on a damaged section of West
Quay in way of PM 110A (on the opposite side of the river to Berth 3) will
commence on 1st September 2009 and will continue until 10th October 2009.
During this period, obstructions will project up to 3 metres into the river and
contractors’ personnel and construction plant will be working in this area. The
limits of the work area will be marked by red flags and flashing amber lights at
each extremity.
Navigators are advised to keep well clear of this area and to pass at slow
speed.
