Local Notice to Mariners No 3 2007
New Dates Dredging Operations Port of Lowestoft
Mariners and Port Users are advised that dredging operations will be taking place in the Port of Lowestoft commencing on the 7th February 2007.
The trailing suction dredger UKD Dolphin will be working in the Outer and Inner Harbours from the 7th to 11th February 2007.
The grab dredger Cherry Sand will be working from the 9th February to 26h February 2007.
The bed leveller UKD Seahorse will be working with these two vessels from 7th to 13th February.
Advice on the vessels movements can be obtained from Lowestoft Port Control or by contacting the vessels direct on VHF14.
Due to their operations these vessels will be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre. Mariners are requested to proceed with caution when navigating in the vicinity of these vessels
