Local Notice to Mariners No 8 2007 Bridge Closure 5th April 1340-1540
Mariners and Port Users are advised that the due to security measures for the Royal Visit to Lowestoft on Thursday 5th April, the A12 Bascule Bridge will be closed to shipping between 1340 and 1540.
This will mean the 1430 small boat opening will be cancelled. Mariners wishing to use this opening time should make alternative arrangements using the 1115 or 1600 hrs small boat opening.
The 1600 opening may be postponed if the official Royal Visit is delayed during the course of the afternoon.
