Local Notice to Mariners No 11 2007
Barge Movements Outer Harbour
Mariners and Port Users are advised that the following barge movements are likely to take place in May & June this year.
The two barges No 11 & No 12 presently on SLP North Load-out berth will both be moved into Waveney Dock berth Nos 3 & 4 on the 8th May 2007.
The Barge H302 will arrive at Lowestoft on the high water slack at 1400 hrs Wednesday 9th May. This barge will then be berthed on the North Load-out SLP. Barge No 12 will be moved from Waveney Dock back alongside the H302.
The Barge No 12 will move back across to Hamilton Quay or to the Waveney Dock at 0900 hrs Wednesday 16th May. This will allow the ‘Kelvin’ Topside & Jacket to be loaded on to H302 on the 16th/17th May. Barge No 12 will move back alongside Barge H302 on completion of load-out.
Barge No 12 will move back across to Waveney Dock alongside Barge No 11 on Tuesday 22nd May. The Barge H302 will then sail about 1300 hrs on the 22nd /23rd or 24th (date to be confirmed). Following the departure of Barge H302, Barge No 12 & No 11 will be moved back to SLP North Load-out.
Barge No 11 & No 12 will sail at 1700 hrs from Lowestoft on Friday 25th June.
These times and dates are all subject to change at short notice, due to operational requirements and weather conditions.
There will be restrictions on vessel movements during the arrival, sailing and shifting of these barges.
