Local Notice to Mariners No 15 2007
Lowestoft Offshore Power Boat Race
Mariners and Port Users are advised that the Honda Formula Four Stroke Series Rounds 5 & 6 will take place in Lowestoft South Roads on the 28th and 29th July 2007. The races will take place weather permitting at 1300 and 1400 hours on each day.
Vessels leaving the Port of Lowestoft not restricted by their draft wishing to head South will find that if they continue due East from the Harbour entrance for 0.6 miles they will be clear of the North East corner of the racing circuit.
All vessels are requested to keep clear of Lowestoft South Roads over this period and keep 150 metres away from the course lines on the race circuit. There will be a set of 9 Racing Marks the approximate position of which are as follows.

There will be race officials patrolling the area to advise the owners of small craft which may stray into the area, where the race circuit runs.
