NOTICE TO MARINERS No: 02 of 2011
Restriction to the Acle Boat Dyke Entrance
Erosion protection work at the entrance to the Acle Boat Dyke adjacent to the River Thurne will take place between 14 March and 18 April 2011. During this period access to the Dyke will not be possible between the hours of 0700 and 1730 without the prior agreement of BAM Nuttall. Coordination can be effected by telephoning John Wacey (07919 552 993) during these hours. At weekends and between 1730 and 0700hrs access to the Dyke will be unrestricted. Vessel Masters are urged to use extreme caution in the area at all times and observe signs and signals as appropriate.
