NOTICE TO MARINERS No.2 of 2006
Dredging Operations Lower River Bure
Notice is hereby given that dredging operations will take place from 12.00 Saturday 8 April 2006 to 23.59 Sunday 16 April 2006 from Three Mile House to Bure Mouth.
Dredging plant will be marked as required by the International Collision Regulations and will also exhibit an orange flashing light when working. Boat users and mariners should appreciate that there may be temporary restrictions to navigation. Craft may pass the dredger at a normal safe distance but should not hinder its safe progress along the channel.
Masters and skippers of vessels should navigate with care and caution until past and clear, observing signage and taking advice from Navigation Rangers if appropriate.
