NOTICE TO MARINERS No: 15 of 2009
Vessel Width Restriction for Mutford Lock
It is necessary to undertake essential repairs to the Mutford Lock for the period 11-15 January 2010 inclusive. During this time the Lock will be restricted to vessels with a beam of no greater than 2.75 metres (approximately 9 feet). Note that normal telephone and/or VHF booking procedures for the use of the Lock will continue to apply.
Vessel Masters should ensure that they exercise extreme caution when approaching, entering, and leaving the Lock and observe any Lock-Keepers instruction.
