NOTICE TO MARINERS No. 12 of 2009
(NTM No 12 of 2009 replaces NTM No 11 of 2009)
Notice of restrictions to navigation between Foundry Bridge and Novi-Sad Bridge, River Wensum, Norwich
Notice is hereby given that due to works for the construction of a new bridge commissioned by Norfolk County Council, there will be restricted river access between the area of Foundry Bridge and Novi-Sad Bridge from 08:00 to 17:30 inclusive during the following dates: -
Monday 3 August – Friday 14 August 2009
Vessel movements may be restricted during this period and you could encounter delays of up to one hour.
Tuesday 4, Wednesday 5, Thursday 6 August and Tuesday 11, Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 August 2009
Vessel movements in the area will be restricted to a period of ten minutes passage only and at the following times –
10:40, 11:40, 13:20, and 16:40
Please ensure you navigate with care and caution in the area at all times during the works period, observing any relevant signs or directions.
Please note that as the works are dependant on good weather, if the work is not able to progress on the above dates, alternative dates will be notified.
