What's On
The Broads Authority organises a programme of events throughout the year to help you to enjoy and understand the Broads. In addition we advertise events run by other local organisations.

Details of Fun in The Broads events are also included in Broadcaster, our free visitor magazine, available from Broads Information Centres.
Booking for events
Where the Broads Authority's own events are marked as book in advance, please book through the Broads Information Centre listed for the particular event you are interested in. The Broads Information Centres are open from 17 March - 31 October 2008.
What to bring?
You will find specific suggestions for items to bring to Broads Authority events in the separate events listings, but the following information applies to most events in the Broads.
For an outdoor event consider the weather and the time of year.
The Broads is a wetland so for some events you will need walking boots or wellies.
In summer don’t forget sunscreen and a sun hat. Insect repellent also may be useful. For walking, trousers and shoes or boots will protect your legs better than shorts and sandals. Always carry waterproofs as the weather can change rapidly.
In winter wrap up warm and bring waterproofs.
Bring a packed lunch if needed and don’t forget plenty of water to drink.
