Norfolk Tourism and the Broads Authority, working with local digital media company Aperçu, have produced a new online audio experience introducing what The Broads has to offer visitors on holiday or local residents planning a day out.
Broads Authority Chief Executive to race at Oulton Regatta
Broads Authority Chief Executive Dr John Packman will be sampling the thrills of racing the big boats of The Broads when he crews Raisena no 3 owned and helmed by Martin Broom, Chairman of the Broads Authority’s Navigation Committee, in the lunchtime river cruiser race at Oulton Broad Regatta on Friday 22 August.

Focus On
New consultation on residential moorings policy: Following consultation on preferred options for the Development Control Policies DPD, the Authority is now consulting on a revised draft policy on residential moorings. The closing date for responses is Friday 12 September 2008.
Planning Applications: The Authority now uses only the Standard National Planning Application Form (1APP) for the submission of planning applications. Visit the Planning pages for information.
Private Bill: The latest news on the progress of the Private Bill, the primary aim of which is to improve safety on the waterways, is available on the Broads Authority Bill page.
