BP2011 coverBroads Plan 2011: The new strategic management plan for the Broads was launched last Autumn. It sets out a vision, aims and objectives for the Broads, guiding the work of the Broads Authority and its partners.

The Plan also has its own website, where you can browse topics of interest and see what progress is being made against objectives. The e-plan is available here: www.broads-plan.co.uk.


The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway, with the status of a national park. It's also home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK. The Broads Authority was set up in 1989, with responsibility for conservation, planning, recreation and waterways.
