Chief Executive of Visit England, James Berresford, will be the key note speaker on Wednesday 18th June at the annual meeting of Broads Tourism which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Broads lover James, who recently spent a long weekend on a boating holiday in Britain’s Magical Waterland, will be sharing his ideas on marketing the Broads, a member of the National Parks family, on the national stage, and on current prospects for domestic tourism.
The meeting, which will be attended by leading Broads businessmen and women, will see a change at the top as chairman Barbara Greasley stands down after five years and Briant Smith retires as vice chairman.
Former Broads Authority Head of Communications Clare Weller will give a presentation on the refreshed Broads branding and Laura Timewell will introduce COOL tourism and the Norfolk Trails.
The meeting will be held at the newly opened gastropub and wedding venue, The Boathouse, on the banks of Ormesby Broad, Ormesby St Michael, NR29 3LP from 3pm to 5.30 pm.
