Free practical work outs for Broads businesses: March 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th.
The Broads Authority is holding a series of free interactive workouts next week to help Broads tourism businesses realise a bright future.
Using European funding the Authority is giving nearly 50 Broads holiday businesses the chance to benefit from the practical expertise of a leading regional PR and communications organisation at four different centres throughout the Broads. Invitations have been sent to 400 tourism businesses in the area.
Louise Reynolds, Broads Boating Holidays Project Manager, said:
“The aim is to work with each business and brainstorm to develop an individual tailor-made plan. It will certainly not be a lecture or a seminar. The idea is for local tourism businesses to get something practical out of the work out and then put the plan into action. Half a day of their time will benefit not only their own business but other Broads holiday businesses too.”
During the work out sessions, businesses across the tourism sector will help each other in giving a customer’s view.
Trends show that the holiday experience offered by the Broads should be in demand by today’s market. Existing tourism businesses are well placed to take better advantage of these trends and realise what should be a very bright future.
The work outs will explore how businesses can win new customers, more of the customers they want, respond better to projected market trends and show the Broads in a new light./over
The work outs are being held on:
- Monday March 7th 5pm –9pm, Ivy House Country Hotel, Oulton Broad.
- Tuesday March 8th 3pm –7pm, Reedham Ferry Inn, Reedham
- Wednesday March 9th 1pm-5pm, Wroxham Barns, Hoveton,
- Thursday March 10th, 3pm –7pm, Filby Bridge Restaurant, Filby.
