Winter work to Ranworth Staithe
Important repairs and improvements are being undertaken to Ranworth Staithe during the winter on behalf the Broads Authority.
New tie rods are being installed in the quay heading, and a resurfaced wheelchair friendly footpath to the moorings and newly laid car park will improve visitor facilities. The path and car park are being funded by the extra National Park grant given to the Broads Authority by the Government.
Lesley Harrison, Landscape Architect for the Broads Authority, said: ”Moorings will be limited at the staithe while work is in progress but we expect the staithe to be up and running with much improved facilities ready for Easter.”
