Touch base with the Broads Authority
An opportunity to hear about the Broads Authority’s progress over the past year and question some of the officers and members comes up at the annual Public Meeting on Tuesday 3 October at 7.30pm at Acle War Memorial Hall.
The new Upper Thurne and Barton Water Space Management Plans will be formally launched, Tony Stapleton will talk about the work of the Broads Forum, the Authority’s consultation body which represents over 50 user groups, and the Chief Executive, John Packman, will talk about the Authority’s work over the past year and its proposals for the future.
The audience will be invited to question a panel comprising the Chief Executive and senior members. Refreshments will be served after the meeting when there will be an opportunity to speak to officers and members.

There will be an opportunity for you to drop in before the annual Public Meeting and have your say on planning policies. The consultation will be open all afternoon so do please come along and get involved in deciding the policies that will determine development in the Broads.
