Chair of Broads Forum
The Authority is seeking applications for the position of Chair of the Broads Forum.
Since it was set up in 2002 the Broads Forum has established itself as the Broads Authority’s key consultative body, representing over 50 interest groups and acting as a sounding board for obtaining the views of these bodies on key issues prior to their consideration by the Authority.
This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic individual who understands and empathises with the needs of the Broads, and wishes to make a real contribution to this unique wetland. You will be charged with leading and continuing to develop this high profile public body and will be expected to liaise with representatives of the Forum, members and officers of the Authority and other interest groups. This position will require a time commitment of 5 to 10 days per annum, for which expenses will be paid.
