Broads photograph commended in National Awards

homepage-imageA breathtaking image of Herringfleet Mill has been awarded a commendation in the prestigious Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009 competition.

Photographer Keith Naylor from Sheffield started out before 2am and sprinted the last leg of his journey to ensure he arrived in plenty of time to witness the spectacular Suffolk sunrise, saying “This image was planned but the mist was a real bonus”.

The photograph was highlighted by judges from thousands of entries that showcased the richly diverse landscape of the UK. Over 100 of the very best images will premier in a free exhibition at London’s National Theatre from December 5th, and the Broads entries along with a wide selection of the other top photographs will be presented at the Forum in Norwich from 29th May- 3rd June 2010

Over 170 winning and commended entries will be included in a book by AA Publishing, available from October 31st.
