Parish "pop-in" sessions rolled out across the Broads

homepage-imageThe second of the Broads Authority’s Parish ‘Pop-in’ sessions is being held on November 25th at Oulton Broad Community Centre.

The open house will offer residents an opportunity to ask Broads Authority staff questions about anything from planning applications to waterways and countryside issues.

The sessions were a long held ambition of the Authority’s Planning Committee chairman to increase engagement between planners and local communities. Since then the idea has been broadened to include the Authority’s other services.

The public are invited to ask questions about planning, including discussing private plans for their property or land, or about current planning applications. No appointment is necessary, but people with  specific queries are asked to give the planning department some notice.

The first Pop In session was held at Hoveton last month. Others are to be held at Martham Methodist Room on 27 January and Thorpe St Andrew Village Hall on 31 March. All are from 2pm to 7pm.
