Broads Authority's Spooky Spectacular is a sell out success

homepage-imageThe usually peaceful setting of Whitlingham Country Park was transformed into a horrible haven for Witches, Wizards, Warewolves (and their parents), at the Broads Authority’s spooky Halloween Workshop on Friday (29th October).

There were two sell out sessions of fiendish fun and frolics for different ages. Activities included pumpkin carving, wand making, face painting, and badge making, traditional games including apple bobbing, and a creepy ghost walk through the woods to spy ghosts, ghouls and horrid horrors!

Whitlingham Country Park manager Russell Wilson said that the event, which has seen numbers grow year on year since it was started in 2007 was a highlight in the events calendar, saying “This is one of the events that we look forward to each year as it’s great fun, and an entirely new use of the country park. The event keeps going from strength to strength, and this is our busiest year ever, and we’d love people to see that Whitlingham Country Park can be enjoyed all year round, not just in the summer.”
