Have your say in Broads Parish Pop In
24 November 2-7pm Ludham Village Hall
People who live in the River Ant Valley in the Broads will have the chance to have their say on work priorities for the area at the Broads Authority’s next Parish Pop In at Ludham Village Hall on 24 November, 2-7pm.
The meeting will feature some of the work that has been carried out in the Ant Valley over the last year as part of a pilot scheme which is developing a new approach to working within the valley.
Local organisations have been involved in developing the new valley approach. A character statement for the valley has been developed along with new map information. Work has started on improving public rights of way and information about the area.
At 4pm there will be a presentation on improvements planned for St Benets Abbey by the Norfolk Archaeological Trust. Details of the Landscape Partnership Bid being put together by the Broads Authority and partner organisations will also be explained. This bid is aimed at gaining funding to conserve or restore certain aspects of the Broads landscape heritage.
Members of the Broads Authority’s planning team will be on hand to answer any questions. Representatives from the Environment Agency and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal Trust will also be there to answer questions about their work.
