Prisma Website launched

A new website has been launched to keep people informed about the Prisma project which is bringing around £800,000 of European Funding into the Broads to develop innovative dredging solutions.

You can find out about the aims and results of the project at www.prisma-projects.eu as well as reading about the official launch in Rotterdam in November. Prisma (Promoting Integrated Sediment Management) involves working with Dutch, Belgian and French partners and will help to deliver planned projects highlighted in the Authority’s Sediment Management Strategy.

Three of the key projects in the Broads which will receive funding from the European Regional Development Fund are the extension of the island creation scheme in Duck Broad, rebuilding a homepage-imagebank at Salhouse Broad using dredged sediment and building a new mud wherry.
