Parish Forums
The Planning and Strategy Directorate holds a bi-annual Planning Parish Forum at Dragonfly House. These are held usually towards the end of April and September between 6pm and 8pm This Forum is aimed at enabling members of Parish Councils to engage with officers from the Broads Authority Planning Team and discuss a wide range of planning related issues and concerns. Forums have traditionally taken the form of presentations and discussion groups and question and answer sessions and each session has had a theme chosen beforehand by Parish Councils.
Previous themes have included The Broads Authority Planning Service (September 2009), Cultural Heritage and Design (April 2010), Flood Defence and Flood Risk (September 2010) and Localism (April 2011). Tthe Forums can be tailored to suit the needs of the Parish Councils attending.
