Hickling Wetland Creation
We are working in partnership to develop proposals for the creation of wonderful wetland areas within the Broads.
Some of these proposed new wetlands are around Hickling Broad in the Upper Thurne.
The partnership includes the Environment Agency, Natural England, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, the Broads Authority, the Broads Internal Drainage Board and Broadland Environmental Services Limited working together to enhance flood protection and providing magnificent wildlife habitats for rare and threatened wildlife.
