Horsey Wind Pump
Four storey wind pump built in 1912, now owned by the National Trust, fine views of reed-beds and the wild, watery landscape. Open: March Sat-Sun, April-June Wed-Sun, July-Aug Mon-Sun, Sept-Oct Wed-Sun, also Bank Holiday Mons 10.30-4.30.
Stracey Arms Wind Pump
Restored to working order, with photographic display on history of Broads drainage mills. Situated beside River Bure on main road between Acle and Great Yarmouth. Open: April-Sept daily 9-8.
Thurne Dyke Wind Pump
White painted brick tower mill, built in 1820 and restored to working order. Open April-Sept 2nd and 4th Sun each month 2-5, or by appointment. Contact Mrs D Nicholson on 01692 672155.
