Sailing
“Exhilaration” is a good word to sum up the feeling of sailing on the Broads, “whether you’re a beginner, or an old hand at the tiller”. Rodney Storey, an instructor with the Hunter’s Fleet near Ludham, tells us about their boats - all wood, with no engines and dating back to the 1930s. Nick Moore, novice sailor, is clearly entranced and finds “it’s a whole new world here on the river”. We also hear from Kevin Taylor of Waveney Sailability at Oulton Broad which offers access for all sailing tuition. David Brooke goes out with Waveney Sailability and says joining was “the best day’s work I did”.
