Broads swing bridge arrangements Christmas 2023

We have agreed with Network Rail the following arrangements regarding the opening of Broads swing bridges over the 2023 festive period.

• Somerleyton Swing Bridge - will be opened up to navigation after the last train on Christmas Eve, and will remain open until the morning of 27 December, after which it will operate as normal.
• Reedham Swing Bridge - will close to navigation at 18:00hrs on Christmas Eve, then will be reopened again on Christmas Day and Boxing Day between the hours of 09:00hrs and 16:00hrs only. Normal service will resume from 06:00hrs on 27 December.
• Oulton Broad Swing Bridge - will close to navigation between 18:00hrs on Christmas Eve and 06:00hrs on 27 December, after which it will operate as normal.
