Navigation restriction - Approaches to Somerleyton Swing Bridge

Notice is hereby given that repair works to the tracks will be carried out on Somerleyton Swing Bridge. Although the works will be on the top of the bridge, a safety workboat will be on site to advise any navigating vessels when they can safely pass through as the bridge will have to open at various times over the work period.

The works are due to take place on the following weekends between the hours of midnight on the Saturday until midnight on the Sunday:

• 7 - 8 September
• 14 -15 September
• 21 - 22 September

Note: During the above period, navigation will remain open and the bridge will be operating under normal procedures. However, vessels must exercise great care whilst proceeding past the vicinity of the works.
