Invitation to tender for production of Broadcaster Magazine
The Broads Authority is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to manage the production, printing and advertising sales for its annual visitor magazine, Broadcaster.
The Broads Authority is responsible for conserving and enhancing the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the Broads area. It also promotes opportunities for the public to understand and enjoy the Broads, protects navigation interests and acts as the planning authority for the area.
Broadcaster has been published annually since 1994 and is highly regarded as the only comprehensive publication for visitors to the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads. Around 75% of holiday motorboat hirers receive a copy, and the magazine provides land and water-based visitors with a wide range of useful information, including safety advice, that may not otherwise be accessed online.
The contract will commence on 1 October 2026 and is expected to be completed by 1 April 2029 (to cover 3 annual editions). The initial contract will be for a 3-year term with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months.
