Upcoming changes to electric charging posts

The Broads Authority will be upgrading the electricity charging pillars at our free 24‑hour moorings.

The existing card‑operated system is now outdated, labour‑intensive, and unable to meet future needs and so following a review, a new online/app‑based account payment system will be introduced during the winter of 2026/2027. Further details about the new system will be provided closer to the time.

In the meantime, we kindly ask customers to purchase only the electricity cards they expect to use before the new system is installed. This will help avoid the inconvenience of returning unused cards for refund once the upgrade takes place.
