Navigation restriction - Breydon Water marker posts

Notice is hereby given that Broads Authority will be replacing the remaining timber channel markers with markers made of steel, as well as replacing temporary buoys with permanent steel channel markers.

Note that vessels may be temporarily restricted and regulated in their movement in the vicinity of the works from week commencing 15 April to 28 June 2024, between the hours of 08:00hrs and 16:00hrs, excluding weekends. Vessels navigating must follow all instructions given by the construction crew.

Please ensure that the new position is taken into consideration for passage planning and when navigating in this area. Grid Reference from TG515080 at Breydon Bridge to TG 46575 04974 on the Yare and TG 47287 04378 on the Waveney (shown in red on the plan extract).
