Biography
A retired Norfolk Constabulary police officer having served for 30 years as an actual police officer and 7 years as a civilian police employee. More recently, manager of both Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies’ Identification Units, followed by post with Border Force at Terminal 2 Heathrow Airport.
Interest in environmental issues started during police career, which led to a BSc in Environmental Science through the Open University whilst still working. On retirement, went to the UEA as a full time student and did most of the MSc in Climate Change course.
Volunteer at Wheatfen and chairs his village Parochial Church Council, as well as running a charity that’s been running since 1658 that provides funds for people in the local community.
