I was introduced to The Broads through a Scouting Expedition in the early 1970’s. In recent years, have brought both family and friends to the area and shared my enthusiasm for this unique and special environment. I have witnessed many changes since the seventies benefitting the environment, the local population and visitors. I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to the development of The Broads, especially representing the interests of those on the water, sailing craft in particular. I hope to add a different perspective as someone who lives outside of the area.
I have a background in education, spending the majority of my career in Primary Schools. Outside of work, I am a keen musician, follower of sport especially rugby and I enjoy being outdoors whether sailing, walking or photographing landscapes.
